Eco CO2 employees buy their business

FIGARO DEMAIN – The founder was retiring. Two of his executives offered to take over the company with the whole team.

The operation was finalized on June 8: 80% of Eco CO employees2 hold 55% of the company’s capital. On the occasion of his retirement, its founder, Jacques Allard, finally chose to leave the company to his teams rather than sell it to a third party. “It is a mark of confidence and recognition of management”, welcomes Johanna Le Conte, who became president on the occasion of this sale. Of the 114 employees, 72 therefore invested out of the 90 who met the eligibility criteria: at least three months of seniority and hold a permanent contract.

Created in 2009, Eco CO2, which is based in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine), carries out awareness-raising actions among citizens, communities and businesses on environmental issues. It achieved 9.2 million euros in turnover in 2020 with 70% growth over the past two years.
