A new forum for small businesses

The regional inter-professional joint committees (CPRIs) may play a mediating role in individual or collective disputes between employees and VSE managers.

During the, employees of very small businesses and private employers will choose a union list. In proportion to the results of this vote, members of these lists will then compose the salaried college of ten members of the future “regional inter-professional joint committees” (CPRI). Created by the Rebsamen law, the CPRIs will be set up in the 13 metropolitan regions and overseas from July 1, 2017. Jointly – the employers’ college also comprising ten members – they will only have an advisory role . They will thus be able to reflect on the development of employment and training in certain sectors. Or even suggest setting up social and cultural activities. Their main mission will consist of informing and advising employees and employers of VSEs in matters of labor law, both of them not being very familiar with social legislation.
